Giuliana Marple is a teaching faculty and Lecturer of Italian. She received a Master in Foreign Language Teaching from the University of Utah. Among her many work adventures she worked for two Olympic Commitees in Salt Lake City and Turin, Italy. She collaborates with the SLC mayor's office and the Italian Consulate in SLC for Italian cultural exchanges. It is her love for art, history and people which has led her to become an international travel educator. Giuliana loves to cycle and has a very soft spot for horses!
Katherine received her master’s degree in music from the University of Utah. She loves to travel and has been involved in various project abroad including running an afterschool kindergarten in Tainan, Taiwan and building a hospital in Tijuana, Mexico. When she is not teaching, singing with the Mapleton Chorale, or studying music you most likely will find her somewhere in the mountains hanging off a cliff. Next to music, her biggest passion is rock climbing.

Freddie is from Boise Idaho and graduated from the University of Utah. He participated in the Genova film program in the summer of 2015 where he fell in love with the Italian culture, and was able to continue his dreams of traveling the world. Freddie wants to offer a study abroad experience for students that immerses them in a new culture, promotes a passion for learning, and leaves students with a new perspective. Freddie’s favorite quote is: “Traveling – first it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller” –Ibn Battuta.

For over 20 years, Andrea has been a practicing cranial sacral therapist and massage therapist. She is certified in several healing and energy modalities, hosting workshops and classes and has presenting across the U.S. She is passionate about expanding people’s minds about their limitless possibilities through energy work and clearing the body of negative limiting beliefs and health challenges. She assists in helping her clients connect with their body, mind and spirit to bring them into a state of natural homeostatis. Andrea is the mother of 6 and 9 grandchildren. She currently resides in Fruit Heights, Utah with her husband of 36 years.
