Coleen McDannell

Professor of History and Sterling M. McMurrin Professor of Religious Studies at the University of Utah, Colleen is one of the foremost experts of religion in the United States and its effect on American life. Her most recent book, published by Basic Books, is The Spirit of Vatican II, which uses her own mother’s life as a way of tracing the impact of Catholic changes on the American faithful.

Professor, Film & Media Arts

Alysia Klein is a Professor of the Film and Media Arts Department. Klein has taught a number of courses including Film Production, Editing, Intro to Film, Film History, and Dance for the Camera. Professor Klein received her Master of Fine Arts in Film and Media Arts from the University of Utah.

Amanda Stoddard

Amanda has worked in as an editor, camera operator, assistant director, director and producer. Her exposure to all facets of the cinematic process is extensive, well rounded, and includes projects that have aired on national TV and theatrical release. Her film 1 Revolution was featured internationally and received honors and recognition at many film festivals.

Kevin Hanson

Professor, Film & Media Arts

Kevin’s teaching career includes teaching film production at Wright State University, Ohio University, and the University of Utah and teaching history and theory courses for the Masters of Professional Communication program at Westminster College.
